นี่คือที่มาที่ไปของซิทคอมเรื่องใหม่ “เนื้อคู่ประตูถัดไป” จาก GTH ค่ายภาพยนตร์ที่หันมาชิมลางงานทางด้านโทรทัศน์ และนับเป็นก้าวสำคัญของ “โอปอล์” ปาณิสรา พิมพ์ปรุ และ “มุก” ปิยะกานต์  บุตรประเสิรฐ หรือ “พี่หมออ้อย” จากโฆษณาสมูทอี ผู้กำกับการแสดง ที่ร่วมมือกับผองเพื่อนสมัยเรียนคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยในชื่อ “กลุ่มห้อง 602″ เสนอซิทคอมเรื่องนี้จนสำเร็จออกมาได้

 ”เนื้อคู่ประตูถัดไป” ประกอบด้วยดารานำอย่าง พอลล่า  เทย์เลอร์ , ซันนี่   สุวรรณเมธานนท์ , “โบ” ธนากร  ชินกูล ,”โอปอล์” ปาณิสรา  พิมพ์ปรุ ,”บ๊อบบี้” นิมิตร  ลักษมีพงศ์ , คู่แฝด “เอก-เอ๋” มณีประเสริฐสิทธิ์ เป็นเรื่องราวรักอลวนของคนชั้น 6 ณ คอนโดมิเนียมแห่งหนึ่ง เมื่อสาวสวย “ขวัญใจ” (พอลล่า) ถูกแฟนหนุ่มที่เพิ่งเข้าพิธีวิวาห์ทิ้งไปอย่างไร้ร่องรอยในวันรุ่งขึ้น ปฏิบัติการเยียวยารักษาแผลใจจึงเกิดขึ้น ขวัญใจรบเร้าธิดา (โอปอล์) รูมเมทสาวพ่วงตำแหน่งคอลัมนิสต์ประจำคอลัมน์โหราศาสตร์ดูดวงเพื่อตามว่าเนื้อคู่เธออยู่ที่ไหน

นิมิตของธิดาปรากฏขึ้นพร้อมภาพบานประตู 3 ห้อง ระบุเลขในชั้น 6 ธิดาพยากรณ์จึงฟันธงว่า “เนื้อคู่อยู่ประตูถัดไป” ที่หมายถึง “โจ” เพื่อชายหน้าหม้อตั้งแต่สมัยเรียนอนุบาลและไม่เคยพึ่งพาอะไรได้เลย และชายหนุ่มนิรนามที่กำลังย้ายเข้ามาอยู่ใหม่ “คุณวี” ชายหนุ่มแว่นหนา บุคลิคเหมือนอาจารย์สติเฟื่อง ขวัญใจจึงต้องวิ่งหนีชะตาตัวเองสุดฤทธิ์

เรื่องราวจะเป็นอย่างไรต้องลุ้นกันต่อไปทางโมเดิร์น 9 ทีวี ออกอากาศทุกวันเสาร์ เวลา 14.00 น-15.00 น.

Almost everyone who has spent time with Paula -including directors, co-stars and interviewers – would always have to comment on her skill to light up a room and has an ability to have an infectious energy and a positive vibe.

Paula is into buying residential properties, her mum usually helps her in choosing which one to acquire. As of 2008, she has eight houses that spread out in Thailand and Australia, which she rents them out.

She’s currently filling space hours with jigsaw puzzles and working her way up from 1,500-piece sets to 3,000 pieces.

Given a chance, she would love to work with Sofia Copolla who starred in a film ‘Virgin Suicides’ and French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet who directed an Art Film called Amelie.

Co-owns a fashion boutique in Thailand called Polita.

Owns a French bulldog “Red”, a chihuahua “Antelope” and a cat marni “Ninja”

A very shy person, contrary to the role of the outrageous lass she played in her movie ‘Sex Phone’.

Paula was thinking about a corporate career or an air hostess before pursuing a career in modeling.

She had enrolled at Assumption University having a course of International Business and Management but later decided that a bachelor degree was not really what she was looking for. Instead, she enjoys studying from the real world.

Finished high school in Australia.

Has always been asked to do a movie ever since she was young but never had a time to do it (not until after high school) since she goes back in Thailand during summer holidays only, not long enough to shoot a film.

During her teenage years, she spent summers modeling in Thailand, but for the rest of the year she returned to Australia, where her family had settled and which she says has an environment which fosters independence and self-confidence.

Her Thai name Punlapa means beautiful.

It was an “orange-letter” day as kids celebrated what it is to be a Pinoy Nickster and made history with the biggest, most star-studded and first-ever Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Philippines 2008!

Since it was not the usual preview party, kids with their parents and guardians gathered at the Aliw Theater, CCP Complex to see their favorite stars like Amazing Race Stars Geoff Rodriguez and Tisha Silang of Season 3 and Marc Nelson and Paula Taylor of Season 2. Marc was nominated for Pinoy Wannabe 2008.

Hot 25-year-old VJ and model Paula Taylor is one of the most popular cover girls in the kingdom. The charismatic star charms audiences with her lovely smile and vibrant personality.

Paula recently took the lead role in a romantic sitcom called Nuea Khu Pratoo Thad Pai (Love Next Door). Co-staring in the show is attractive 26-year-old DJ and TV host Thanakorn Chinakul (DJ Beau).

Produced by comedian Opal Panisara, Love Next Door is about wannabe actress Kwanjai (Paula), who is looking for love. A fortune teller predicts that Kwanjai will find her soul mate living next door. Khun Wee (DJ Beau) is one of Kwanjai’s neighbours. He’s a real gentleman, but unfortunately he’s also an unfashionable geek.

Student Weekly recently met with the two young stars to talk about their first sitcom and how their characters relate to their real life experiences.

STUDENT WEEKLY: What got you guys interested in Love Next Door?

Paula: When I read the script, I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling as I read it. I like smart humour.

Beau: I like anything that’s fun. I used to work with Opal Panisara at a radio station. She’s always good fun, so I knew that working on this sitcom would be a great experience
